What
Adviceme is a concept for a multidisciplinary advisory app that connects users with experts and hobbyists, making professional advice accessible to everyone. The goal is to create an intuitive and inclusive platform that serves both seekers and advisors across various industries. Following the Design Thinking Process, I guided the project through every stage—from research to the final design. The app fosters a sense of community, strengthened by a cohesive visual identity, including a unified logo, color scheme, and branding elements.Designed with users in mind, the interface prioritizes accessibility, personalisation, and seamless experience, ensuring that each user finds the guidance they need in a way that suits them best.
Why
In an era where expert knowledge is often scattered across different platforms, users struggle to find reliable, accessible, and personalized advice in one place. Through user research, competitive analysis, and empathy mapping, a key challenge emerged:
"How might we design an advisory platform that caters to diverse user needs, ensuring trustworthy remote consultations—especially in health and mental well-being—while maintaining accessibility, personalization, and a seamless user experience?"
This case study explores how Adviceme addresses these challenges, fostering a community-driven ecosystem where users can confidently seek and share expertise.

How
Every promising idea needs validation and refinement before it can evolve into a well-structured solution. To achieve this, I applied the Design Thinking Process, which provided a clear framework for managing the project efficiently within a set timeframe. My approach started with user research - understanding potential users, their needs, motivations, and current ways of seeking advice across different fields. I explored why they needed guidance, how they searched for it, and what challenges they faced in the process. These insights shaped the app’s core features and functionalities, ensuring that Adviceme directly addressed real user needs while fostering a seamless and trustworthy advisory experience.

Information architecture
Based on research and testing results, I created a structure that is easy for users to understand. An intuitive interface is crucial for achieving a positive user experience.

Branding
Adviceme, as a multidisciplinary advisory app, creates a community of seekers and advisors. A cohesive logo, color scheme, and other branding elements unify this community. The Adviceme logo features a simple and clean design, reflecting the app's focus on clarity and ease of use. The logotype is modern and professional, enhancing the brand's credibility. Together, they create a cohesive visual identity that is easily recognizable and trustworthy.

Types of users
Users of Adviceme app includes both advisors and those seeking advice. With this in mind, the profile design resembles that of social media accounts. Adviceme aims to be a place where users can connect and build relationships - it's not just a platform for paid services.

Persona
Personas were developed to represent the two core user groups: advice seekers and advisors. These profiles captured their motivations, behaviors, and concerns, reflecting findings from user research. For seekers, the primary need was quick and easy access to trustworthy advice, with a focus on health (79%) and mental well-being (59%). Advisors, on the other hand, valued credibility, visibility, and ease of interaction with users. The personas guided key design decisions, ensuring the platform met the expectations of both groups while fostering a reliable and user-friendly advisory ecosystem.

Component Library
Components are an integral part of the design. Their precise execution is time-consuming, but invaluable in later stages of project customization. A design system and its components are crucial for the future, as they make implementing changes easier, less time-consuming, and ensure brand consistency.
